Dufur runs streak to three games



Mikayla Kelly paced Dufur with seven kills and two blocks, Kayla Bailey tacked on three kills, eight aces, 14 assists and six digs to help the Lady Rangers secure a three-game sweep over Mitchell-Spray Tuesday in Dufur.

The Rangers had little trouble in the first two games, taking both by final marks of 25-13 and 25-14 to jump ahead 2-0 in the match, and then turned in a 25-22 score to get the sweep.

Trinity Blake had four kills, two aces, a block, eight assists and eight digs, Sydnee Byers and Kalie Ellis added three kills apiece, Emily Crawford finished with two kills and two aces, Brooke Beachamp tallied two kills, and Shai Lucas posted two aces and three digs.

With four matches left before district action, the Rangers (13-8 overall, 6-2 league) are tied for third place with Sherman.

Dufur hits the road for matches with Ione at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
