There have been many employee's that have worked at Amerities for 20,30 years and have not had any health issues. The tie plant has been in The Dalles since the 1920's, long before most of the people that are having issues have lived here. When you purchase a home it is the responsibility of the purchaser to do their due diligence and research the neighborhood before they purchase. We live near the cherry orchards and when they spray it smells and the workers wear full protective suits, should we ask them to stop spraying the fruit since we moved in, I don't think that would happen. We made the choice to live where we do knowing that there were orchards in the area. It seems that the negative voices are always the loudest, even if they are not the majority.
